Washing your Indian Hair.
lt;span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px;">DO NOT wash hair for at least 2 days after the extensions are put in.
This allows the hair to lay properly. If the hair is washed before this there is
more chance of your hair sticking up often. You can wash hair as often as you like but
remember that the less stress put on the attachment the better.
When you shampoo and condition, we only recommend Moroccanoil products as
they are gentle, sulfate and silicone free. Detangle your hair from the ends to the
roots and never sleep with wet hair!
Brushing
When brushing your indian hair, try to use a soft bristled brush as this will cause minimal damage to
your extensions. A hard brush can often pull hair out.
Brush gently, the more care taken the better. Extensions should not get terribly
knotted but as with your own hair they can occasionally get luggy! Try to brush your
hair every night to ensure no tangle build up. (Do not brush Curly Hair)
You will lose strands of hair while brushing, this is normal bear in mind you lose
strands of your own hair every day naturally. The shedding is just hair which has
not been caught up properly in the bond or has come loose. Try to sleep with your
hair in a plait or satin bonnet, this will minimize chances of knots.
Styling
The hair can be straightened, curled and blow dried. When straightening try to avoid very
high heat. Hair can also be cut and styled but when cutting please, take into consideration
that after it is cut, the hair will not grow back in. You can color or perm the extension.
Be sure to do a strand test!
